Raymond Blanc OBE
Raymond Blanc OBE, is one of Britain's most respected and honoured chefs. He is totally self-taught, inspired by his mother's use of fresh, local and seasonal produce for family meals. Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, of which Raymond Blanc is the Chef-Patron, is the only country house hotel and restaurant in the UK that has held two Michelin Stars for over 25 years.
Raymond Blanc visited Bentalls Living Kitchen on Wednesday 2 December 2009 for two cooking demonstrations to promote his new cookware range, Raymond Blanc by Anolon, and book signings in between. Raymond says of his new cookware collection; 'To become a great chef, there are three vital elements: a passion for food, quality ingredients and high performance equipment. Working with Anolon, I wanted to create a range that would allow everyone - from the cooking novice to the most experienced chef - to easily create exciting food in their own home.'
